Information Session on the Regional Economic Analysis System (RESAS) for Shopping Districts

Regarding RESAS, the Survey Office of the Planning Division, Business Environment Department, Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, in collaboration with the Cabinet Secretariat, has developed and operates the Regional Economy Analysis System (RESAS) to provide information support for regional revitalization initiatives across Japan.
This system was released in March of this year to enhance information support, enabling diverse regional stakeholders, including local businesses, to utilize data for discussions and initiatives related to regional revitalization. Since then, the system has been continuously upgraded based on user feedback.
Therefore, we are informing you that the Tokyo Federation of Shopping Street Promotion Associations has announced an explanatory meeting for shopping streets.

・Visualize shopping district environments, population maps, future population projections, and economic circulation with ease.
・Anyone can view public and private big data on regional economies for free, easily, and without prior registration—right on their smartphone.
・All you need is motivation and a smartphone—no specialized knowledge or prep work required!
